Logitech G5 Laser Mouse
By tsctsc onI've been using the G5 mouse by Logitech for about a year and a half now. Since getting it I've bought multiple other mice. A wireless LogitechMX Revolution, a Razer Deathadder, and a Logitech G9. All of these mice were more expensive and luxorious than the G5, so each time I figured I was finally replacing this old mouse.
I was wrong. No matter how good of a mouse I bought, I just kept coming back to the G5. In terms of shape, the mouse is quite large. It's arched nicely, fitting my palm, and has a concave left side to house my thumb - along with a set of fully mappable back and foreward buttons. The mouse also features a unique weight system. A small, ejectable cartridge on the bottom of the mouse houses any combination of supplied weights to give the mouse a different feel for you, depending on your style.
In terms of speed, this mouse does not disappoint. With on the fly DPI cycling via buttons behind the scroll wheel, the mouse supports 400DPI, 800DPI, and 2000DPI. Due to being laser guided, it never misses a beat either.
Whether you're doing office work, or playing Team Fortress 2, the Logitech G5 will not disappoint.
