Logitech G5 Mouse By Jables on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Gaming mice aren't for everyone. They are typically more expensive than regular ones but they come with a host of useful features. Logitech's line of G(x) mice are built circuits up for gaming.

Most noteably, the G5 is wired. For me this is a good thing because I save money on batteries. The trade off is both a restriction on range (if you like controling your PC from afar) and a wire that interferes with objets on your desk and pulls the mouse if pulled tight. Fortuneatly, Logitech forsaw the latter problem and added a neat feature of adjustable wieghts. The mouse has a set of wieghts that you can slide into the bottom to fine tune the handling of it - very crutial for pro gamers. At first I though this was a little strange and did not believe that +/- 1g would affect anything but I was so very wrong.

The button layout is near perfect and it includes 6 buttons. Two of which are used to adjust the mouse sensitivity on the fly allowing you to make very small movements with ease. Overall I believe this to be the best mouse I have purchased and would reccomend it to anyone looking to "a bit more" in a mouse and who doesn't want to break their bank.
