My brother got this mouse for me as a gift for christmas 4 years ago. I would never go back to a wheel mouse again. This one, obviously, doesn't have to be replaced or repaired as often. The way it moves across your screen without much movement by you is the best part. I never have to pick up and place the mouse somewhere else because I'm running out of mouse pad! You can even use this mouse without a mousepad if you wanted to.
I have had a couple problems with it but I didn't give up on it. More or less the constant use of it caused a button to wear out inside but my husband took it apart and fixed it for me and it is still going. I have even managed to persuade a couple of friends to go out and buy one. You will never go back to a regular wheel mouse once you have tried a laser mouse. The outside of it shows the usage of it so that would be the only reason I can see a point in replacing it.
I give it 2 thumbs up. Less maintenance and more usage!!

These are great! I don't use a laptop anymore, but when I did I loved mine. :-)
I just bought a slightly different Logitech laser mouse. I'm glad to hear that it should last me a long time. Thanks for sharing.
I like logitech's mouse. They lasted longer than most.
