My parents have this Desktop set. I tried it and was pleasantly surprised at how much I prefer it to my keyboard at home. I loved the wireless mouse so much! If you are simply browsing the internet and you don't need to use the keyboard, you can put the mouse anywhere on any surface and use it. You don't have to be confined to having the mouse sit on the shelf next to the keyboard. The keyboard is really comfortable to use. I like the "hot keys" on the keyboard that give you quick access to the documents, shortcuts, email and the things you use the most. I can't stress how much I love not having cords running from the two items. It's great and looks neat. The batteries are long lasting too. They should last up to 6 months of useage. There is a light indicator on the mouse to let you know when it's time to change the batteries. I would recommend this set and would love to get one as a gift!

This is the second wireless product I have seen tonight. I think this one sounds a bit better than the others. I like the indicator light that tells you when it is going to run out of battery life. That's important unless you happen to keep a closet full of batteries! Hope you get one as a gift!
I will come back and vote when I have one to give. Logitech accessories are great. I have not had any problems with their keyboards, cameras or mouse.
