Logitech MX500 Mouse

Frankly, this mouse is perfect.

There are 5 programmable buttons and I use them all.The buttons are in very ergonomic locations and are fantastic for web browsing.The left and right mouse buttons are easy to click and the scroll wheel is smooth and has a nice rubber feel.

The optical engine is very good.It excells on basically any surface.I'm sure the newer laser mice have more resolution, but this mouse is about as fast and precise as one I've ever used.The mouse itself has a nice heft to it which makes it very nice for people who like to set their sensitivty all the way up.

I have owned this mouse for 6 years, put it through extremely heavy use, and it is just starting to show signs of wear.It still functions perfectly, though.
