I am so not a computer person so I had no idea they even had mice with out the ball. I really must look into this, our ball skips all the time.

Logitech is a great brand, one I use frequently. I like a mouse is simple & easy to use & does a great job...this one fits the bill.
These corded optical mice are wonderful. Though I have another brand, it performs exactly like the Logitech. It is wonderful not having to deal with the rollerball cleaning and skipping issues.
Looking for a new mouse for the laptop and don't want a cordless, husband doesn't like the cordless. He thinks this kind works better. Good information and i will buy.
