This Logitech QuickCam is compatable with Skype.com for internet chat. this comes with both the camera and an earpiece/microphone. Webcam plugs into USB port, is super quick and easy to install, and attaches easily to a laptop or flat panel monitor or sits on a desk. The included software walks you through set up, step by step and adjusts sund and volume controls. This cam can be used to record video clips that can be saved to yuor computer. Video quality is a bit grainy but for a reasonably priced webcam, it does the job. Video capture and still image resolution is 640x480. Live video is 352x288 and has a frame rate of 30f/sec. The headpiece can be used seperately for independant use on other systems, either to listen to music or just for the microphone option.
