Logitech R 10 Desktop Speakers By MisterBisco on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Logitech R-10 desktop speakers are ample for what they are, but at the price point, don't offer much beyond entry-level desktop sound. I own a Lenovo Thinkpad, and while the laptop is terrific, the laptop speakers are simply terrible. As such, I upgraded to some desktop speakers for use while at home.

The speakers' appearance is probably their best feature. They are slim, matte black, and blend in with most decor schemes. They are powered by a standard AC adaptor.

Their power is mediocre, as they were unable to be heard as anything but background noise when turned fully up in a crowded room. Also, the sound quality gets poppy at the high treble end, and they lack a low end almost entirely.

If you are on a budget, these are ample speakers to get you by, but if you are looking for desktop sound of any seriousness, I'd pass.
