Logitech Trackman By vnascone on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have owned a Logitech Trackman for many years, and though I have recently begun to stop using my trackbal mice in favor of more conventional mice, I still must suggest this trackball to anyone interested in getting one. It does take some time to get used to, especially if you are accustomed to using a regular mouse, hence to low "Ease of Use" score, but once you get it, it will feel like the most natural thing in the world. The one I own is the older wired version. They have in recent years updated the design to be wireless, but not owning one, I cannot attest to their quality. However, if the newer models are like the one I own, or, indeed, any Logitech product, you can rest assured that this trackball will fit your needs and then some. It is far easier to use a trackball like this for anything from gaming to office use, as you can move the cursor however quickly or slowly you wish. With a traditional mouse, you tend to overshoot your goal if you move quickly, but a trackball gives you a tighter degree of control, making games like Counter Strike or Call of Duty a snap. This is a must have mouse for anyone who prefers trackballs or just wants to try something a little different that won't break the bank.
