Logitech USB Desktop Microphone
By op12 onThe Logitech USB Desktop microphone is sleek and simple. It has a small, square, beige base, with a tall , black microphone that can fold down flat when not in use. The base also has a power button that lights up when the microphone is on. The microphone is powered via a USB port. When turned off, the microphone appears as disconnected in Windows. The power button is useful when using the microphone with a laptop so you can conserve battery life.
The microphone was instantly recognized in Windows Vista and was recording clearly before making any adjustments. Through Windows the recording level can be adjusted to improve sensitivity. Using it for applications like Skype and Vista Speech Recognition was fairly easy to do and in Skype the person on the other end verified they could hear everything clearly.
Overall the product has a nice appearance and seems well-built. The biggest criteria for such a product should be its clarity, and in this category this microphone excels.

I love when things are simple to use. This sounds like a great microphone and a great price for it. I love the design as well. I have used this brand for years and I love their products.
Thank you for mentioning that this is compatible with Windows Vista!! What a nice looking microphone!!
Wow what a sleek sexy looking microphone! :o) For that price and the clarity you said it has it sounds like a steal!
