Logitech Vx Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse By Crackpot Inventor By Crackpot_Inventor on - Updated Sep 26, 2011

The Logitech VX Revolution is an excellent, though somewhat pricey, cordless laser mouse. Upon first trying it out in the store, the ergonomic design was a perfect fit for my hand. After using it extensively for several days, there is no discomfort whatsoever.

The mouse has the standard left and right buttons, as well as a center scroll wheel that allows you to determine whether it scrolls smoothly or in increments. The scroll wheel also allows you to scroll left and right by tilting it to either side. The mouse also features a zoom slider, a search button, and back/forward buttons on the side (actually quite useful when browsing the internet).

This is my first time using a laser mouse, but it appears that it offers improved accuracy and control over a traditional optical mouse, which is something I had problems with. The other problem I had with optical mice was the poor battery life; it seemed like I needed to provide two new AA batteries every three weeks. The VX Revolution, on the other hand, uses only a single AA battery, and the box states that you can get up to eight months of battery life. I do not yet know how accurate that claim is, but if it is true, it would be a vast improvement.

If you are looking for a supremely comfortable mouse with a great deal of functionality (and can overlook the price), look no further. The VX Revolution is an excellent choice.
