I enjoy listening to music while I surf the internet so when I was out shopping for a new computer, I knew I also wanted a good speaker system to go with it. I believe the Logitech X-240 Speaker System was a good choice. Initially I was attracted to the look and price of the speakers. They were not real expensive but did not look like a cheap brand either. I have also purchased other Logitech products which is a good brand.
It comes with 2 speakers and a subwoofer for bass control. It also comes with a stow-away cradle that can hold an iPod, MP3 player, cell phone or PDA which can be connected to your speakers. The cradle has a place to connect headphones which is usually the way I like to listen to music. The system can also be turned up loud, which I like because I can listen to my music throughout the house rather than just when I am at the computer or close by.

That is an interesting speaker system. I am considering picking up some external speakers for my new iMac. I am not looking to pay a lot... This may be just what I am looking for. Thanks!
I always see deals on this speaker set, but I don't really need it right now. I'll probably get this when I have the luxury to do so. I agree that Logitech is a good company.
