Longfellow By eaforeman5 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Longfellow is a collection of all this poets works.Hovghton and Mifflin and Company published this book. This book is beautifully illustrated and has a picture of Henry W. Longfellow. This book was published in the eighteen hundreds. It is magnificent because it does contain all of his works. It has an onion skin sheet in the introduction. This is also one of my favorite older books in our collection. This is a household edition. The Riverside Press Of Camberidge published this book in 1899. The illustrations are black and white and beautiful to see. You see the clothing and hairstyles of the era beautifully done throughout the entirety of this book. It is amazing, and a great look back in time. It is an incredible look into one of the most famous published books in the history of time. You can actualy see what this author was seeing in his life at that time. I am always astounded by this book, and no matter how many times, I look through it, I find it enchanting. This book includes a note section and a content section and is six hundred and sixty eight pages long. This publication at the time of it's realease sold for one dollar and fifty cents. It sounds like such a small amount to us now, but at that time, it was actualy alot of money. It is said to be the complete poetical and prose works.Dante's Divine Commedia is the only work that was published seperatly from this book.
