Look Inside Sharks And Rays By MelanieS on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

"A Look Inside Sharks and Rays" is the ultimate book for kids about how sharks and rays function and live. It is hardcover and has transparent cut outs that show the insides (cartilege, blood vessles, organs) of these sea creatures. The inside of the book has thick pages with one section on various types of sharks and another on rays.

Each page is split horizontally. The top has colored pictures and text about the type of fish in each group. The bottom of the page has a large diagram of a shark or rays body with the cellophane cut-outs to give a layered view inside.

This book is highly educational and entertaining. It has no table of contents or index that is useful for looking up specific information, but the pages can be easily scanned for data. I would recommend this book to any parent of a child who loves sharks and rays.
