Reviewing: Peterson Field Guides Birds Of Eastern And Central North America
Purchased at: Waldon Books     Price: $30.00 USD

A very nice field guide, I got it for my little boy and I to look up the various birds we see around our area. It is very easy to use with a silhouette guide and tons of really great artist's plates of the birds. The Peterson Field Guides Birds of Eastern and Central North America also has four-hundred and fifty map plates showing the most likely occurrence's of all the birds in the area, it is a very in-depth study of wildlife for our part of the United States. The Peterson Field Guides Birds of Eastern and Central North America has become a routine item to take an any trip we go on now to make sure we don't miss anything. It is a semi-hardcover book it's construction is such that it must have been intended to be carried around a lot, ours has taken lots of abuse and is still going strong with the exception of a little curling around the edges. I would recommend this field guide to anyone interested in learning more about the birds of this area. I really wish I had something like this when I was a child maybe I would not have been so surprised at how many different types of birds we really do have around our little neck of the woods.

Nice! We got something similar while in Georgia a few weeks back when we went hiking, he found alot of different birds, we all had fun with it!

I was a birder for years, then my eyesight failed me as did most other parts of my body. Peterson's is the best!! I've used other books, but his field guides are superior in every way. I like them better than ones with actual photographs.
