L'Oreal Paris Color Vive Conditioner

I have been using this conditioner consistently for about 2 weeks, and I am pleased with the results. The conditioner is especially made for color-treated hair that is dry or damaged. I don't have color-treated hair, but I find that conditioner geared toward colored hair is very gentle on hair, especially fragile hair-types like mine.

The fragrance is yummy - floral and fruity. It reminds me of Starburst Candy mixed with frangipani flowers.

I find the formula immediately detangles my hair. This means a lot to me since I have really long, thick, wavy hair that tangles very easily. An additional benefit of the conditioner is when my hair is dry it feels much, much softer. This is great as my hair is prone to dryness.

I didn't notice a profound increase in strength, but I was not surprised. My hair is prone to breakage and split ends. I haven't found anything to fix that problem except for a good hair cut, and even then, that lasts about 5 minutes, and the breakage begins again!

An interesting trait of the conditioner is it tends to make my hair have looser waves as opposed to tighter curls.

The conditioner has good ingredients like silicones in it, like amodimethicone and 18 methicone. These help hair feel silky and look less frizzy. It also has moisturizers like soybean oil, and antioxidant Vitamin E.
