L'Oreal Voluminous Volume Building Mascara

L'Oreal Voluminous Volume Building Mascara is one of my most recent cosmetics purchases. This waterproof mascara promises 4 times fuller lashes and boasts a patented volume-maximizing brush. It comes in a regular-looking dark gray 0.28 fl.oz. tube with a matte golden lid. I picked the Black Brown shade; the mascara is also available in Black and Soft Black.

The brush does not look in any way unique - just a regular straight brush with medium-size bristles. I believe this mascara is also available with a curved brush, but mine is straight. It works very well, nicely separating and lengthening the eyelashes. However, I would not say it increases volume 4 times, that's a bit of an exaggeration (which is probably a good thing: I would not want my lashes to look unnaturaly thick and heavy).

The waterproof formula works very well, I have worn this mascara in rainy weather and it never smudges. It lasts me all day and is not hard to remove: I don't even use any special waterproof makeup remover, just a regular one.
