Lost Cities For Two Please By kateri27 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Let me start out by saying I am not a huge gamer. I love playing games, and I love being challenged, but I don't really have time to go to gaming parties and you will probably never see me at a gaming convention.
My friend introduced my to lost cities and I loved it so much she actually bought me the game for Christmas one year.
Lost cities is a two player game. There are five cities. You start the game out by being dealt eight cards. Your goal is to build the cities. You do this by putting the color coded cards down in order from 2-10. Each player takes turns putting down a card or discarding a card and drawing from either the main pile or from the discarded cards. Once the last card is drawn the first round is over. You play three rounds in this game.
When you are putting the cards into play you need to make sure that the card you play in each city add up to twenty or else you will lose points.
After three rounds whomever has the highest score wins.
This game is created for players ages eight and up. It is simple, but at the same time it challenges you. I love it because it is different then most other games I have played.

This sounds like an interesting card game. :)
My husband and and brothers are fond of all types of games and it looks like they are going to enjoy it most .
I can't say I have ever heard of this one, thanks for the info.
Sounds like this would be a great 'bad weather' past time too. Thanks for the info
I've never heard of Lost Cities, but it does sound very different from other board games. At least it has something different to offer players which is a blessing since many of them are so similar in play.
We love games in our house too-this one is a new one to me & I will look this up!
We have played many games, but never heard of this one.
That's crazy, I thought I knew pretty much every card game there was. Learn something new everyday, thanks katie27.
