I enjoyed the TV series, Lost In Space, but the movie did not exactly appeal to me. We again see the Robinson family on their quest to colonize another habitable planet because Earth is starting to fail. But trouble brews for the crew because of problems caused by a stowaway, and adventures abound as a result.

The movie stars Gary Oldman, William Hurt, Matt LeBlanc (I liked him better in "Friends"), Mimi Rogers, Heather Graham, Lacey Chabert and Jack Johnson. I have the New Line Platinum Series, and it does contain special features, including deleted scenes, commentaries and featurettes.

A few of the original cast members from the TV series make cameo appearances, and the movie is OK, but personally I just did not enjoy it the way I hoped I would. If you get a kick out of special effects, you will see a lot of them in the movie, Lost In Space. It does contain plenty of great visual effects, but even so, I was just left a little disappointed with the overall movie. But then again, that's just my personal opinion.
