At my work Christmas party I recieved a gift of Mary Kay Lotus and Bambo body lotion. I like the fragrance, it is light and unique and semi pretty.

I normally do not purchase scented body lotions because the alcohol in the fragrance dries out my skin seriously. I personally think it is a waste of time and money when you purchase and use a fragranced lotion that is intended to moisturize, but it ends up with a drying effect on my skin.

Despite the pleasant fragrance, this lotion is one of the lotions that is really terrible on my skin. Maybe it is just me, but I am not happy with this Mary Kay lotus and bambo body lotion. I have discarded this lotion, and I certainly won't use it again, and I also would not buy it on my own.

However, it is the thought that counts. I was happy to recieve this lotion as a gift.

What I liked about this lotion is easy to sum up. The light shade of green is pretty appealing, the fragrance is unique and it smells nice. What I disliked is also easy to sum up: It has too much alcohol to be effective for my skin.
