Louder Than Words By Couldbeme on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I received Louder than Words as a gift from a friend. The story of Evan and Jenny McCarthy's families journey through autism was extremely interesting and heartbreaking at times. The book was so beautifully written from a mothers point of view. It will keep you wanting more when it ends, and not wanting to put it down while reading.

There are many resources throughout the book, from Doctors to websites, which make this a definitive must read for anyone who has a family member or knows of someone on the Autism spectrum.

I believe that through this book the door to Autism has sprung even more wide open, and will continue with much research and persistence. I learned so much about autism, and it truly is frightening that there doesn't seem to be a lot of attention being paid to its increased incidence - except by suffering families.
