"Love Actually" is tagged as the ultimate romantic comedy. I couldn't agree more. It stars Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, and so many more. What I like most about this movie is one minute you will be on the verge of crying from sadness, and the next you'll be crying because you're laughing so hard. It really takes you on an emotional rollercoaster as you follow the various characters and their love lives. The movie takes place at Christmas time, but it is more than a holiday movie. It's a great pick me up or romantic comedy to watch any time of the year. While it's hard to pick a favorite part, my favorite character was the washed up rock star played by Bill Nighy. His parts alone are hilarious, and probably a big part of why this movie is rated R. The people who made "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "Notting Hill" created this movie, so if you liked those, you will LOVE "Love Actually."
