I have been a Apple user since 1999 and I love these compact computers, apple started a design frenzy with the original Apple iMac and ever since people have been purchasing these little things.

I purchased this black and silver beauty from amazon.com and it arrived pretty quick in about seven days. The screen is just huge and gorgeous and it really looks like a HD Tv.

The reason I use Macs is because i'm a publisher and writer I need a computer that can perform word processing and printing in a rush. Macs can handle this task well, even my old G3 imac still works it little blue but off.

This iMac blazes through open office and I can whip out articles in under an hour on this computer. This iMac is also great at editing videos using ivideo, again no slowdown. iVideo isn't for a beginner and I would reccomend anyone starting to make videos on this should use uLead video editor.

This macs 200GB hard drive is a breeze to run and it really would take a army of music files to fill this thing up. The 1GB of RAM isn't really amazing but you won't need to upgrade since this computer is as fast on 1 GB of Ram as a 2GB computer.

The main reason I love iMacs is because of the space saving, I have this iMac in a book shelf which I could never do with a PC.

Overall if your a writer or you just need a faster computer then iMacs are perfect for the job, you won't regret buying this computer.
