Love my camcorder!

I realize, of course, that just about everyone is going fully digital now.But, I do love my 8mm Hi-8 camcorder!
I received this as a gift when my eldest (now 6) was only about 3 months old.My uncle sent it to me, as a baby shower type gift, so that I could take lots of videos of my wee one.
We still use it today, for special ocassions, holidays, etc.It works beautifully!
There's a part where you can flip open the screen, to watch what you're recording in color.You can play it back through that, or through the eye piece.There's a knob in the front that allows you to do all kinds of things with it (I don't think I've ever used ALL the features).And, there's a button on it that will allow you to freeze the shot for a few seconds, which I have used a couple times, and love (especially with two kids, when you get that nice smiley shot!).
It's silver and black.And, even though my digital camera will take digital videos as well, I prefer to use the 8mm.Call me old fashioned, lol, but I just love it!
