I always say that the best thing my ex boyfriend from 10 years ago gave me was my OMEGA yellow gold necklace. This necklace is thick, strong, and very elegant looking. It is 14Karat gold and there are some of these necklaces that have white gold on one side and yellow gold on the other. Mine is just pure yellow gold. One of the great things about this necklace is that because it is so strong and stiff, when you put a pendant on it, it doesn't go to a v-shape. The pendant can slide along the necklace very easily. The stiffness of the necklace can also be a downfall though. There is no bend to this necklace so if you do bend it, you could possibly damage the necklace. I always get compliments from people when I wear this gorgeous piece out and about. It truely is a very classy piece of jewelry, although it does come with a hefty price tag.
