Love You Forever: A Great Children's Book By twinwritermom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Great children's books should be embraced as a part of every young life. As a thirteen-year veteran of the early childhood industry, and a mother of two, I spend a lot of time reading literature designed for children.

A couple of years ago, I stumbled across a book called, Love You Forever, written by Robert Munsch and illustrated by Sheila McGraw.

This book highlights a mother's undying love for her son as he journeys from infancy through adulthood. Each night, his mother sneaks into his room while he is fast asleep, and rocks him back, and forth, as she sings this song:

I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, for as long as I am living, my baby you'll be.

This book brilliantly captures the loving nature of a mom, and shows how loving traditions can transcend generations.

This is an excellent book that parents will enjoy reading, and children will adore hearing time and time again.

Why not create your own tradition by reading this wonderful book to your kids.
