I have two daughters age 3 and age 8 and they both play with tons of different dolls and toys. I have to say this doll house was the first that they both enjoyed playing together. I also really enjoy playing this dollhouse with them. I really like how it helps both of my daughters use their imagination when playing. It is perfect because even though it is pretty big it does fold up so it does not take up a lot of space when it is not in use. Another nice feature was that it came with a lot of furniture when we purchased it. It came with an entire family of dolls including 2 twin babies, a living room set, baby set, and a few other essential pieces. The extra pieces of furniture are very affordable and they are sold as "rooms" which makes it very easy to purchase extras. I love that the doll house is very sturdy and constructed very well. It also looks nice....almost like a real wood dollhouse but made of plastic. I think that this toy will be a main part of our family play time for a long time.
