Loving Frank By Rae777 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This book is a blend of fiction and nonfiction. Its a good story about the tragic life of Mamah Borthwick Cheney. She was the mistress of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The story begins with how Mamah Borthwick Cheney met Wright while she was married to her husband and Frank was married as well. Mamah had two children by the husband. The story is about the toll that her affair took on her life as well as her husband, children, Frank and her sister's lives. The press was extremely cruel whether she was here or abroad. The book also goes into detail on Mamah's and her children's tragic ending. I had never read anything by Nancy Horan before. She did a good job and kept the book interesting until the end. This is another book I think would make a good movie.
