High cholesterol runs on my dad's side of the family and during my last physical, my doctor suggested I take a multi vitamin every day because although my cholesterol dropped 35 points in two years, my level is still considered high.

Centrum Cardio was recommended to me because studies have shown that by taking two Centrum Cardio a day (800 mg), within one month, cholesterol levels may decrease. The ingredient in the Centrum Cardio which will help decrease those cholesterol levels is called CoroWise phytosterols. Coming from soybeans, not only do phytosterols lower bad cholesterol, they also lower the chance of heart disease so this multi vitamin is definitely a multi tasker!

There is no flavor to this "horse" pill and although it is not a geltab, I still find it easy to swallow. I have only taken this for the last three weeks and pray that my cholesterol level will lower (of course, eating right and exercise will also contribute to good heart health) by the next time I have my physical.

To some, this price might be a little more expensive than normal, but in the long run, it is well worth it to me to maintain my heart and stay healthy.
