Ltv 950 By bubbacat on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The LTV (Lap Top Ventilator) 950 is one truly dependable machine. I cannot express just how easy this ventilator is to operate in the hospital or home setting. It only weighs 12 pounds and looks like a laptop computer. You can carry it with you for trips. It has a strap for ease of handling on those trips or just to move around from room to room. Even if you do not work in the medical field, you can learn to operate an LTV 950 ventilator. Once the doctor locks in the settings for the patient, you just use the on/off button and the reset button as needed. The machine is high functioning and the most dependable. The older ventilators were heavy and cumbersome. This vent is quiet and I just love it for patients. Many patients are sent home on this vent. The parents/families are trained in the hospital to learn how to use it but mostly learn while using it in the home. I highly rate the LTV for its ease of use/portability and above all performance. Performance is truly a must- have when dealing with a patient's breathing. Although you should always be prepared for a situation of a non-working vent. Always have a back-up vent if needed for the safety of your patient. I have used the LTV 950 for several years in the medical field and give it five stars!
