Lucious Lips, Or Icky Goo? By Nutmeg101 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

So, I am not a huge cosmetics person. Truthfully, I rarely wear any makeup at all. Once in a blue moon, I like to put on just a touch, especially a light color in a lip gloss. I ordinarily love Bath and Body Works products, so I picked up some of their Liplicious gloss. It smells pretty good, like whichever flavor is labeled: in my case, Frozen Blackberry. It does get a faint waxy smell very shortly after application. The texture is what I couldn't get past. I felt like I had applied honey to my lips. For me, it was far too sticky. I used it a couple of times hoping that it was just an off day for my sensory perception, but to no avail. I wiped it off, so i can't really speak to the longevity.

There are a couple of positives about the Liplicious line. I did like the smooth, angled applicator. It made it very easy to apply. It has Vitamin E and Jojoba oils for moisturizers. It is offered in a variety of colors or "flavors." And it does have one heck of a shine!
