Lush Ooh La La Soap By Cindy Leggett on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Lush's Ooh La La soap was one of the worst soaps I've ever tried. I was intrigued at the ingredients - a soap that contained actual grape juice sounded like it would smell wonderful. The color of the bar was promising - a beautiful purple - and I couldn't wait to try it. Maybe it was just the bar I received, but it smelled nothing at all like grapes! Instead, it smelled heavily of rosemary, another ingredient in the soap, and not the most pleasant of scents. Combined with lavender, marigold, thyme, and rosebuds, it just smelled musky and old, and kind of medicinal, like cough syrup. But even worse was the pink suds that stained the bathtub and shower walls, and even seemed to leave a faint purple tint on the skin! I'm not sure if this is from grape juice, or red dye, but it was a very unpleasant surprise. I won't be trying this soap again!

Thanx for the warning. This soap sounds horrible...
