Lush Whoosh Jelly By fudgepineapples on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Shower jellies are one of the creations by Lush that aim to reduce waste by cutting down on packaging. However, when you buy them in store or online, they come in plastic tubs that certainly count as packaging. Either way, they are a lot of fun. They seem to be the thing in stores that catches people's eye, that people love to play with. This slippery squishiness is not such a good thing in the shower. The only practical way to use them is to squish them into a shower pouf, which decreases the fun of the jelly texture. Whoosh in particular is a wonderfully uplifting citrus fragrance, which is even more refreshing when it is frozen. When frozen, it turns a weird creamy blue that feels all nice and icy on the skin. This scent is great for waking you up in the morning, but I really wish it came in a shower gel.
