Lysol effectively deodorizes all kinds of surfaces in your house. I think it's the best!

This Lysol product comes in a light-protective dark bottle in concentrated form. The directions on the back give the proper dilution levels for various needs from diaper pails to general surfaces.

It can be used in laundry, on cribs, walls, toilets, garbage pails, and any other surface that can be washed.

The original scent is distinctive to the product, and has come to symbolize “clean” in my mind. It is hard to describe, but is strong, pungent, and most like iodine.

The concentrated liquid is purplish brown, but when you pour it in the water the water looks cloudy. Rubber gloves are recommended, but I've never used any with it, and have never had a rash or other irritation.

I've successfully used it on laundry when I had concerns about disinfecting some fabrics, perhaps diapers or bedding from a sick room. It will eliminate tough odors in bathrooms from bacteria growth.

This is not a cleaning product, but a disinfectant. If the areas you wish to clean are greasy or generally grimy, clean first with a soap product and then wipe the area down with diluted Lysol.

Lysol disinfectant is a staple product in our household. No home should be without it.
