Lysol Disinfectant Spray By Jeanette Dusci on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have mixed feelings about Lysol Disinfecting Spray. First of all, I will say that I do keep this product on hand at home for times when someone in my family gets sick. I was brought up in a home where lysol was used to disinfect and rid the home of germs. I still use it today on doorknobs, remote controls, toilet area etc. to try to prevent the spread of germs. I can't say with certainty that it keeps others in the home from catching illness, but I feel like it might help and certainly doesn't hurt. The downside is the smell. To me it is too strong and medicinal. It brings back memories of being sick as a kid. I have even tried the new scents but to me it is still invasive. It would be nice if it were odorless. I also have tried other brands of air freshener and like the design of the bottle better than lysols bottle. I like a spray trigger that you can use one handed easier. Lysol has the spray button on top which is a little more difficult to manuever with one hand.
