Any of you out there that remember The Mickey Mouse Club?I know I'm showing my age, right?I use to watch the re-runs of this classic show and loved it.All the kids wore Mickey Mouse ear hats.Well, you can still get these hats at Disney World (and I assume Disney Land as well).
For those of you too young to remember, Mickey Mouse ears are black with a red patch on the front that features a picture of mickey's head.The hat part is a small bowl (for lack of a better description).It is made to just sit on top of your head and falls off rather easily.Then sticking up from the top on each side is a plastic ear.
You can get your name stitched on them for an additional amount.And now they even make ones that have an elastic band that goes under the chin so they stay on better:0)
I remember these, who could forget. I used to own a pair.
I have 2 of these hats, one from Disney World and one from Disneyland. I always thought they stitched on your name for free? Did they stop doing that? I brought my pair on my first trip to DisneyWorld 5 years ago so maybe it has changed since then.
I always had these when I was younger and I just bought my daughter her first pair of Mickey ears last fall when we went. Who can go to Disney and pass these by???
Mickey Mouse club, what's that? I'm not admitting to anything! There is no greater joy in a parents life than when they buy their child their first set of Mickey ears! Brings a tear to my eye.
I would love to get my kids a pair when we go in June.
Yeah, I grew up watching the Mickey Mouse Club. Black and White T.V. and all. Wow, I must be OLD!!! Ya gotta have the ears.
They still have these!!!!!!!! I had one when I was a kid...even had my name stitched into it. I still have it on the shelf in my guest bedroom. Too bad it doesn't fit anymore. ;-)
I was given a pair at WDW for being a Grand Marshal and I love having a pair of my own!
When we took our daughters to Disny in June I bought 4 of these hats for my whole familly and made us all get our pictures taken in them my husband loved me lol!
