Mac 30 Cinema Display By jabbr on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I use my Mac Book Pro for music recording in my home studio and I am very pleased I made the $2200 CAD purchase for a 30" Mac Cinema display. It has transformed my work flow and greatly aided in making Logic Pro easier to manoeuvre through. There are a lot of tricks that you can use to make smaller screens very usable but there is no substitution for screen real-estate. With the resolution of the 30" cinema being as high as it is 2560 x 1600 optimal resolution, the external monitor has even better clarity than my laptop's monitor (in my opinion). If you are sitting on the fence and wondering if such a larger screen is really necessary. I can assure you it will be more useful than you had anticipated.
