Macbeth is one of Shakespeare's Best

I often found myself bored while reading some of Shakespeare's plays. But Macbeth was the first play that kept me hooked onto the story from start to finish. This tragedy is about an overly ambitious man named Macbeth, who stumbles upon three witches in the forest. The witches make a prophecy that Macbeth will become King of Scotland. This prophecy turns Macbeth from a noble warrior, into a murderer. The plot grows more and more interesting as the book progresses, and you feel the need to keep reading. This feeling never came to me while I was reading other Shakespeare plays like Romeo and Juliet. Macbeth's ambition and greed ruins his life, as well as the lives of those around him. I truly recommend Macbeth over any Shakespeare play if you have never read one of his plays before.
