I bought this great flashlight for my husband for Christmas 2008. It is made by Mag Instruments, which is a U.S. company based in Ontario, California.

The construction on the Mag-Lite is top quality. It is 14.5 inches long so that it can hold the three D cell batteries that it takes to light up the LED.

I can honestly say that I've never seen such a bright beam on a flashlight. And it lasts! So many flashlights seem to just draw the juice out of a battery in minutes, but we've had these batteries in since Christmas and its now ten months later! The beam is as bright now as when we put the batteries in.

You can change the beam's intensity from floodlight to spotlight by twisting the head.

Shipped with this flashlight was an extra bulb which is stored in the end cap, just in case you break the bulb.

My husband really likes his flashlight. He has never spent this much on one before, but now he is living the quote "You get what you pay for!" every time he fires up his Mag- Lite and it produces the best and brightest beam ever.
