Magic Eraser Duo

This cleaning aid is one of the best ideas to hit the market in long time.When it first came out I bought the original and tried it on everything!I used it until it was in shreds and it still worked even in it's 'little-pieces' form!But I was going through the sponges like crazy so when the Magic Eraser Duo came on the market, I snapped one up and gave it a try.It was a bit more improved as far as durability, but it still was weaker than I had hoped for.As far as cleaning, it still did the same great job, and the "scrubby" side was a nice added touch.In fact I think the scrubby side aided in keeping the sponge intact longer than the original sponges.

I love the way this product cleans like no other sponge has before.The only caution I have is to be careful when using it on painted woodwork.I used it on some painted cabinets and it left the paint a little dull.It took the fingerprints off though!I'm guessing that the sponge surface acts almost like a super-duper fine sandpaper and that's what makes the grime and dirt disappear.

The next time I'd like to try the Magic Eraser Extra Power to see if this model holds up better.I love the Magic Eraser Duo for cleaning, as well as the original Magic Eraser.If only there was a way to make the product more durable so as not to go through so many sponges to get the job done.
