Magic Math Multiplication board is an educational toy that teaches your child their times table ones through nines. Perfect for 2nd and 3rd graders, this little jewel came to us as a gift. For around $12, I've seen similar units at Wal-Mart and the exact model can be found on eBay occasionally.
Originally this was given to my older child. She was having difficulty getting multiplication. When we received the Magic Math Multiplication board, she finally got it.
The board squares show your child the problem: 9x1. Your child depresses the square to reveal the answer (see images for example). The beauty of the Magic Math Multiplication board is you do not need batteries to operate it.
This board is sturdy. The soft keys have stood the test of time. You don't need much skill to operate it aside from knowing your numbers 1-9 and understanding the times sign (x).
Our youngest child has been playing with it recently. She is nowhere near the math educational stage. However, she knows some of her times table now! Talk about getting ahead of the game.
The only issue I have with the Magic Math Multiplication board is when you depress the problem; the answer is rather fuzzy unless you really press hard. It is for older children after all. Another issue is it only covers multiplication up to 9. Otherwise, I think this toy is perfect for learning simple multiplication.

I've always loved these, I think they're the coolest thing. What I like best about them is they are almost indestructable and so affordable!
