Magic the Gathering: Apocalypse

Apocalypse was the last set of the Invasion block. The theme of the whole bloack was to play as many colors as possbile. Apocalypse had several new cycles and mechanics and these were the following:
Envoys -- Fetch creature cards from the top of your library.Siphon Creatures -- Cards for life creatures.Enemy Pain Lands -- Pay 1 life for enemy mana.Enemy Split Cards -- Enemy spell flexibility.Disciples -- Enemy color activated abilities.Volvers -- Two enemy color kickers each.Sanctuaries -- Bonus enchantments for enemy color decks.The notable cards in the set were Desolation Angel, Gerrard Capashen, Spectral Lynx, Phyrexian Arena and Penumbra Wurm. I liked the set because of the contribution it made towards the game in temrs of mechanics and making colors accessible. It also had plenty of gold cards which i liked.
