It is a great TV for any small room in the house. The quality is amazing compared to some of the other HDTV's I have seen. It also comes with the Digital Tuner so you get those extra channels that basic cable is hiding from you. I hooked up my Xbox 360 to it and I was amazed, seen some thing I never seen before. It can also be used as a computer monitor. Sound is also decent, you can select between virtual surround, stereo and mono. Only thing it is really missing is it's own program guide.It comes with a pretty cheap stand that mounts right onto the bottom of the TV, and you can't adjust the way it sits. It points up a little bit, but it's really not that big of a deal. Also HD DVD playback is wonderful, if you don't have an HD DVD player you can pick up the other version of the TV which includes one for $100 more.
