Magnifying Mirrors Helps Me Look Good By Debbie831 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I wear glasses and without them I am blind, so you can imagine what it is like in the morning trying to put makeup on. I am not only still waking up, I can't see! I guess I got my message across because for my birthday last year my kids bought me this maginifying makeup mirror. It is perfect and I love it.

I can now see what I am doing when I put my makeup on and don't have to keep putting my glasses on the check if my makeup is on evenly. I love that it is mounted to the wall, so I just pull it out and then push it back when I am done so it stays out of the way.

It is brushed sliver and has a 5x maginfication on one side and a regular mirror on the other. It is lighted but I still use the bathroom light. It is more of an evening light which I like if I am getting ready to go out at night. I can check and see how my makeup will look in the evening.

There are no cons to this mirror and I did check online, the cost is a little high at $59 but for me it is worth it. If you can't see without your glasses and can't wear contacts this little gem is the perfect tool.

That is a beautiful looking mirror! How nice of your children to purchase this for you!

My mother always uses these and I SO wish I'd get one already. I was going to ask my husband for one for Christmas, but I want to check them out first. I like that this has a light in it.
