Mai Tai to Murder is a Darcy Cavanaugh Mystery, written by Candy Calvert.

Darcy is an ER nurse doing a presentation for a group of mystery writers on a vacation cruise. Her workshop consists of telling about different types of wounds and their affects, fodder for eager mystery writers always on the lookout for ways of doing in their characters. Darcy's boyfriend, Luke Skyler, is a federal agent, and his mom, Angela Skyler, happens to be on the cruise, something Darcy feels a little trepidation over. Angela is determined to show her manuscript to one of the literary agents on the cruise, who is a rather ruthless individual. When this agent is murdered and Angela is a suspect, Darcy knows she is in for a cruise that is going to be anything but relaxing.

Mai Tai to Murder was a fairly good book. I enjoyed reading it, but I do prefer some of the other mysteries that I have been reading. For some reason, I just couldn't get into the book or the characters the way I would have liked, but despite this, I still enjoyed the book.
