Mainstays Reversible Comforter By Princess Michelle77 By PrincessMichelle77 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I recently purchased this Mainstay comforter for an extra bed we have. I purchased the one that is burgandy on one side and black on the other but they have a lot of different colors to choose from.

The comforter is very lightweight, perfect for summertime in Florida but I don't think it would keep you very warm even with the mild winters we have. It's only 180-thread count but it's really not rough in texture. It is surprisingly soft and comfy. It has a quilted pattern, which helps with the plushness but it's still quite thin.

Because of it's low thread count and overall light contstruction I would probably not want to wash it too often because I don't think it will hold up. It's fine for a bed that doesn't get used a lot though.

I think overall it's a nice, inexpensive comforter for occasional use but I wouldn't put it on a bed that gets slept in a lot. I don't think it will hold up to every day usage.
