I purchased this phone to replace a different Uniden model that had seen better days. This phone offers 3 "head-sets" - one is the "main" one, which plugs directly into your telephone connection. It is important to note that this phone would be fabulous for anyone with "all in one" or digital phone service. You plug the telephone cord right into the phone - no phone jack necessary. The other 2 extensions all plug into a regular power outlet.

This phone has a great range and the voice quality does not suffer even if you walk from one end of an apartment building to the other - trust me, I tried! My phone connection worked perfectly from my apartment to my trash room. Moreover, I was able to hook the phone line up to my fax machine, and the phone's regular use and voicemail service does not get interrupted even if a fax comes in. The voicemail is easy to set up and use, and I highly recommend this phone to anyone.
