If you need a battery replacement for your Nintendo DS Lite, I recommend having the Li-Ion Replacement Battery Kit for NDS Lite at DealExtreme with free international shipping! The regular battery that comes with the Nintendo DS Lite is only 1000mAh but this is rated as 2000mAh. The product includes a small screwdriver so that you can open your unit as well as a black replacement cover (although I didn't really use the cover since my NDS Lite is white). When I installed it in my Nintendo DS Lite, it was fairly easy. This replacement battery really fits the Nintendo DS Lite. No hiccups whatsover. Now the bad news. I don't think that this is really has 2000mAh capacity. At full charge, I feel that it's more on the 1200mAh. I mean there's an increase of around two hours in my gaming tests compared with my standard 1000mAh battery. Also, I don't recommend to be overcharging for very long hours this battery, just to be on the safe side. We all heard news on exploding batteries.
