My kids love creating things and one of their favorite's things to do was play with their Moon Sand but they started getting bored with just our original set so as soon as I saw they had the Ice Cream Sundae play set I bought it. The set comes with everything you need to make icecream treats. It includes molds to make an ice cream scoop, cherry, banana and ice cream cone. It also comes with white and yellow moon sand. It has a mat for you to play on and it makes clean up very easy. Even if they get sand on my table I just sweep it with my hand. I have been very impressed with the moon sand because it never dries out.
The molds are very easy to use you just put your moon sand in and it is very easy to get out. The only complaint I have is I wish it came with more colors of sand like black so you could make chocolate toppings. This has been a great addition to our moon sand and I am looking forward to more add on sets because my children really enjoy playing with it.

Moon Sand is nothing more then expensive Play Doh. We bought our first container of it not to long ago and were very disappointed that what we paid for one container of pink would have bought 12 containers of different colored Play Doh.
I keep hearing about this moon sand. I had never heard of it before, I am from the playdoh days! Thanks for the info.
How cool, ice cream moon sand. Moon sand came out when my son was just out growing his play doh stuff. He did have one thing of moon sand, but he just wasn't interested it in at his age.

I've never heard of this product. I think it's great that they are coming out with new product lines because I can imagine that kids get bored with it the same way they do with playdoh.
I got my nieces this for Christmas. Hope it was not too messy for their parents ! lol
