Make Your Own Wedding Invitations? Yes!
By CoralRose onYears ago I would of never imagined that we would be making our own wedding invitations and announcements, especially since at one point in time I worked for Regency Thermographers, one of the largest stationary companies in Texas!
Believe it or not I helped with my nephews wedding and we found this "blanks" at Wal-Mart! They had several patterns to chose from and this one that we used came in two colors, gold and what we used the silver and they were quite beautiful and turned out very professional looking.
You get a response enclosure card with envelopes, truffle/favor boxes, multipurpose cards ( wedding invitations, save the date, wedding announcements, etc) all in sets of 50, you also get entwined wedding band seals,
You can get as fancy or as simple and elegant as you wish and you will save a bundle! This set of 50 was under $40.00.
This was also a nice way for the families to come together and work on this together before the wedding, it was a nice way to get to know some of them.

What I like about this, is the idea of family joining together to help create a meaningful event. No amount of money or high end stationary can ever substitute for this.
What a steal! Wedding invitations can run upwards of $200. Making them custom adds to the costs. This is a great option to save some money.
Sounds like a great experience and a great buy.
What a great idea and a great deal! Thankd for sharing your experience.
I never would have imagined homemade invitations coming out looking professional.. What a wonderful idea. Thank you!
I believe I have received invitations made with these kits. They were very nice.
Those invitations can get expensive. Glad you made your own and saved some money!
Great idea!! Thanks for the information.
What a good price - $40 for 50 invitations! Please post a picture of them, if you have one...
I never had to worry about invitations because I eloped! ;-)
